Our Commercial Plumbing Process

From planning to final inspection, our commercial plumbing process ensures code-compliant, efficient, and long-lasting systems for kitchens, bathrooms, and utility areas. We handle every step with precision—minimizing disruption and maximizing value.

1. Contact & Discovery Call
 
    • A commercial client reaches out via phone, form, or email.
    • A detailed discussion is held to understand:
      • The type of business (e.g., restaurant, office, warehouse)
      • Plumbing needs (installation, repairs, code compliance, upgrades)
      • Timelines and budget expectations
      • Building access and hours of operation
 
The plumber visits the commercial property to assess:
      • The current plumbing infrastructure
      • Blueprints or mechanical room layouts (if available)
      • Fixture locations, drain lines, water supply, shut-off valves
      • Compliance with local codes, ADA, OSHA, and fire regulations

        Notes are taken for potential issues like:
        • Outdated piping
        • Poor water pressure
        • Sewer gas odors
        • Grease trap needs (for food businesses)
 
A formal quote or bid is created with:
      • Labor breakdown (hourly or flat rate)
      • Materials & parts list
      • Equipment rental (if needed)
      • Permit and inspection fees
      • Completion timeline with milestones
        *Often sent alongside a Service Agreement or Maintenance Contract*

         

 

    • If permits are needed, the plumber files with the appropriate municipality.
    • Schedule is coordinated to minimize business interruption—night or weekend work may be proposed.
    • Access logistics are arranged (parking, building access, after-hours codes, elevator usage).

Installation or Repair May Include:
    • Water supply & distribution lines (copper, PEX, CPVC)
    • Drainage systems (cast iron, PVC)
    • Gas piping
    • Grease traps and interceptors
    • Backflow prevention devices
    • Restroom plumbing (toilets, urinals, ADA sinks)
    • Commercial kitchen fixtures
    • Water heaters or boilers
